This blog discusses how health care leaders can contribute to greater health equity for the LGBTQ+ community by taking an active interest in better understanding the needs and perspectives of the LGBTQIA2+ community, prioritizing inclusive language, training staff to be community allies, supporting companies and community organizations that focus on LGBTQIA2+ health, hiring LGBTQIA2+ staff, including LGBTQIA2+ representation in all communications, acknowledging any missteps, and making action consistent beyond Pride Month.
