Opioids and Work: A Formative Research Assessment to Inform Educational Outreach

The document presents the findings of a formative assessment conducted by Massachusetts Department of Public Health Occupational Health Surveillance Program (OHSP) and the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) to aid in the development of a strategy for educational outreach to Massachusetts workers regarding injury prevention, opioids and pain management following injury, and addiction resources. It also presents potential prevention interventions, partners, and identification of current promising practices.
