This journal outlines the social justice implications of disparities in dental health, particularly those experienced by low-income American adults. Impacted areas discussed include the physical and mental health of those lacking access to care and overall economic cost, among others. Recommendations for improving access to dental care for low-income communities are also discussed within the article.
