This article presents four key factors that the Food and Drug Administration should consider in order to prevent escalations of the youth e-cigarette epidemic. These factors include: youth perception and usage data, consideration of flavors, product safety and whether it contains toxic ingredients, and rates of usage for both e-cigarettes and cigarettes.
