This webinar from Health Resources in Action focuses on conducting a shared assessment, prioritizing community needs, and planning implementation efforts to improve community health. It introduces participants to health equity, culturally competent approaches, and how to think collaboratively about ways to engage diverse populations/communities in their efforts effectively. It provides learnings demonstrating the valuable and unique roles hospitals can play in community health improvement processes and suggests approaches to make these processes more successful. It also uses data from hospital sites around the country to learn about what is working well and where there are opportunities for growth and improvement.
