This report outlines the need for a permenant paid family and medical leave program in the United States. The benefits to employees, employers, and the economy and recommended aspects of a national paid leave program are described. Prioritizing low-wage workers, workers of color, and other marginalized groups throughout the design of the program is also discussed.
